Busy little bee

It's an interesting day. I have two openings tonight, and I'm interested to see how they turn out. My work always seems... simple when placed next to other people's work. Yet, the feedback I get is always positive. Go figure... I suppose it'd help if I was more confident in my ability.

I like the new mutant stuff, but as always, I have questions. Namely, what's up with the guy giving the robot the hug, and why's the robot freaking out? Interesting...

Heh.. the robot is Warlock and his buddy on his back is Doug Ramsey (a.k.a. Cypher). Warlock was always more like Doug's pet. This is the New Mutants team from the early 80's and Warlock is always freakin out :D. It's crazy stuff.. heh heh.

hey thanks for the comment :) funny you mentioned animation, cos thats how my habit started lol. but now i use it more as a reference.
... and i just checked out your gallery, i love the expressionism! theyre so gritty and spontaneous, its great work :D

Thanks! I like to do short drawings from life, and I've taken to emphasizing the things I do wrong for the random distortions I get.
